Narrowing of the esophagus after swallowing acids or alkalis.
Symptoms:
- Difficulty swallowing
- Pain while eating
- Weight loss
Diagnosis:
- Endoscopy
- Barium swallow
Treatment:
- Endoscopic balloon dilation
- Stenting
- Surgery if severe
